Installation
- Screw directly through the backing felt between the slats, into the wall. We recommend using 15 black plasterboard screws (approx. 32mm × 3.5mm).
- Evenly space the screws across the panel in 5 rows.
- Please ensure the fixings are into as many of the structural joists as possible if installing panels to the ceiling.
- If installing onto a brick wall, screw horizontal timber battens to the wall at 600mm intervals and then screw the panels to the battens. This is much faster and easier.
- To achieve the best Class A acoustic performance the panels need to be installed on 45mm timber battens with 45mm acoustic insulations between. (EN ISO 11654: 1997).

Preparations
The surface you are mounting onto needs to be clean and dry. Ensure it is free from fixings such as nails and screws.
Fixtures and Fittings
- It is possible to mount brackets and shelving over the panels. Please ensure they are securely fastened to the wall behind.
Cutting
- Measure twice, cut once.
- You can cut the panels with a fine tooth handsaw or most handheld saws.
- The backing felt can be cut with a sharp Stanley knife.
- For best results we recommend using a new blade on your tools.
